West Midlands Schools Anti-Bullying Conference 2023

We’re delighted to invite you to our one-day anti-bullying conference. A conference for anyone working with primary school aged pupils in the West Midlands, including teachers, headteachers, supervisors and teaching assistants. The aim of the conference is to present on state-of-the-art bullying research and best practice to address bullying in the classroom.

The day will include:
• Professor Lucy Bowes, a leading risk and resilience to bullying researcher, as our keynote speaker
• Local pupil and teacher experiences of implementing KiVa, a Finnish anti-bullying programme
• Bullying and mental health
• Show and tell: anti-bullying resources and practices for primary schools
• Workshops including ‘Anti-bullying with SEND pupils’
