Carers Week 8-14 June 2026

Carers Week 2026 is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution made by unpaid carers across the UK. Every day, millions of people provide essential support to family members, friends and loved ones, often balancing caring responsibilities alongside work, education and their own personal commitments.

While caring can be rewarding, it can also be physically and emotionally demanding, which is why raising awareness of the challenges carers face and the support available to them is so important. This Carers Week, we encourage everyone to take a moment to acknowledge the carers in their lives, learn more about the resources available to support them, and help ensure that carers feel valued, recognised and appreciated for the vital role they play in our communities.
