Samaritans – Brew Monday

Brew Monday 2026, falling on Monday 19 January, offers a gentler reframe of the so-called “Blue Monday.” Instead of focusing on what’s hard about winter, Brew Monday invites us to slow down, put the kettle on, and check in with ourselves and each other. It’s a reminder that small moments of warmth — a cup of tea, a quiet conversation, a pause in a busy day — can make a real difference to our wellbeing.

As the new year momentum collides with dark mornings and long to-do lists, Brew Monday 2026 is a chance to practise self-compassion rather than self-pressure. Whether it’s reaching out to a colleague, taking five minutes to breathe, or simply acknowledging that January can be tough, the day encourages connection over productivity. Sometimes support starts with something as simple as asking, “How are you really?” and staying long enough to hear the answer.
